MGA ⚽️ Tournament In Aid Of Puttinu Cares
The MGA 5-a-Side Charity Football Tournament, organised in collaboration with Pietà Grounds, successfully brought together the community for a one-day sporting event in support of Puttinu Cares.
Held at Pietà Grounds, the tournament featured 7 teams and 70 players, competing in a league format where each team faced one another, with the top two progressing to the final. The event delivered a full day of competitive football, teamwork, and strong sportsmanship.
At the conclusion of the tournament:
🥇 Religa were crowned champions
🥈 Betsson secured second place
🥉 Portomaso Casino finished in third place
Beyond the results on the pitch, the tournament achieved its primary goal of supporting a meaningful cause. Through the collective efforts of organisers, participants, and supporters, funds were successfully raised in aid of Puttinu Cares, contributing to the foundation’s ongoing work in supporting children and families undergoing cancer treatment.
The event stands as a strong example of how sport can unite people for a greater purpose, combining competition with compassion. The success of the tournament reflects the continued commitment of the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) to organise initiatives that make a positive impact within the community.
See you next time !!
