Pieta Grounds was the proud host of the Malta Gaming Authority Football Tournament, held on Friday 7th April.

The tournament was not just a sporting event, as all the proceeds generated from it will go to support the noble cause of Puttinu Cares.

Ten teams participated in the tournament, which made an exciting day of football for all involved.

The teams were divided into two groups, each consisting of five teams. The top two teams from each group progressed to the knockout phase, where the competition got even more intense. In the end, it was Betsson who emerged as the champions, winning the tournament against Casino Malta in the final match 2-0. It was a thrilling finale to a fantastic day of football, and both teams played exceptionally well throughout the tournament.

In the 3rd and 4th place match, FansUnite managed to make an impressive comeback and win 3-2 against MGA. It was a closely contested match, and FansUnite showed great resilience and determination to secure their victory. The match was a great display of skill and sportsmanship, and both teams should be proud of their performances throughout the tournament.

Ultimately, it was a fantastic day for everyone involved, with great football on display and a worthy cause being supported. However, the real winners of the event were undoubtedly the beneficiaries of Puttinu Cares, who will greatly benefit from the proceeds generated by the tournament. The generosity and kindness of all those who participated and donated will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need, and they should be commended for their efforts.

We want to thank the Malta Gaming Authority for using our services, and all of the participating teams that made this year's Football event a success.
